Luleå

Norrbotten county (Norrbottens län) has a surface of ca 98 920 km² which places the county on the first place (out of 21 counties). The population of the county is ca 250 400 inhabitants, which places the county on the 15th place out of 21. The density is only ca 3 inhabitants/km². The county was created in 1810 and its current governor is Björn O. Nilsson (b. 1956). The biggest city in Norrbotten county, which also is the residence city, is Luleå with ca 48 750 inhabitants.
